Dear Fellow LATA Members & Guests:
The Iberville and Assumption Parish Sales and Use Tax Departments are proud to host the 1st Quarter LATA conference in Baton Rouge, LA. The conference will be held March 11-13, 2026 at the Hilton Baton Rouge Capitol Center located at 201 Lafayette St, Baton Rouge, LA 70801.
We’re getting ready for another great year of learning, sharing, and connecting – with a little fun along the way. We’ve put together a lineup of engaging sessions and social events designed to be both meaningful and enjoyable. Our conference theme - Boots on the Ground - represents the grit and teamwork required as we roll up our sleeves and work together to encourage uniformity in tax administration.
To kick things off, we’ll start Wednesday with a line dancing class following committee meetings-perfect for getting those steps just right! Then join us for a Corral on the Rouge, our Welcome Reception and bar-hop showdown. Throw on your favorite jeans and head over to Somewhere Neighborhood Bar for an evening filled with music, good food, and plenty of laughter. It’s the perfect opportunity to kick back, reconnect, and mingle with fellow tax trailblazers. Not ready to call it a night? Walk down to Squeaky Pete’s, Downtown Baton Rouge’s first and only country bar! Just show your LATA name badge to enjoy exclusive drink specials. Saddle up for a night of fun!
And don’t miss Thursday night’s Roundup Social featuring DJ Co! Come dressed in your best Western attire. It’s sure to be a boot-scootin’ good time!
We’ve secured a group rate at the hotel: $110 plus applicable tax and fees.
