The Calcasieu Parish Sales Tax Department is proud to host the 58th Annual LATA Conference on December 11, 12, and 13, 2024 in Lake Charles, LA. The conference will be held at Golden Nugget Lake Charles Hotel & Casino, located at 2550 Golden Nugget Blvd, Lake Charles, LA 70601.
The hotel has reserved a block of rooms for the conference and is offering a conference room rate of $129.00 per night plus a $19.99 resort fee per night. Valet and self-parking are complimentary for hotel guests. This block of rooms will be held until November 10, 2024. After November 10, 2024, this rate ($129.00 per night) will not be available. The registration fee for the conference is $325.00 for LATA members and $375.00 for non-members. There is a $175.00 fee for guest accompanying a registrant to cover meals served on Wednesday night, Thursday lunch, Thursday dinner and Friday breakfast.

On Wednesday, December 11th, there will be a Social for Business and Industry and Administrators. Immediately after the administrators social, on Wednesday, be ready for a “Night Under the Big Top” with cocktails and burger bar for all attendees. On Thursday night we will be transported back to the 80’s with entertainment by the Flamethrowers, Louisiana’s Best Party Band. Come dressed in your favorite 80’s outfit.
There are several other events for your entertainment planned for the conference:
