The Caddo Shreveport Sales and Use Tax Commission is honored to host the 60th Annual Conference of the Louisiana Association of Tax Administrators to be held December 9 – 11, 2026 at the:
Live Casino Hotel located at 711 Live Casino Boulevard, Bossier City, LA 71111
Wednesday morning the Conference will commence with the Diamonds on the Green LATA 60th Anniversary Golf Outing at the Querbes Park Golf Course located at 3500 Beverly Place, Shreveport, LA 71104. This outing will provide you an opportunity to connect and reconnect with old and new friends. Even if you don’t think you have the skills to be on the green, participation is encouraged to make new connections and to “just hit the ball.” The registration fee for this activity is $85.00.
If you’re not “sharp” enough for golf then we’ve made preparation for you to attend Elves, Embers, and Christmas Cheer: A Glass Blowing workshop at High Gravity Glassworks located at 1120 Texas Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71101: This up close and personal workshop is not only going to keep you warm but you will have opportunity to make your own Christmas ornament, paperweight, or design your own flower while networking over light snacks and refreshments. Don’t forget to bring the Christmas Cheer by wearing your holiday hat because you can’t work in Santa’s “Glass” workshop without it. The registration fee for this activity is $50.00 and liability waivers must be signed for participation.
Wednesday night we will welcome you with our Flannel, Friends & Fine Connections Reception: So, let’s get ready to come dressed in your finest western flannel to Saddle Up (literally!), Sing Out with our Karaoke Guru from Treetop Entertainment & Connect in the Live PBR Bar.
Thursday evening will be an evening to remember as we commemorate our 60th Diamond Anniversary: A Night in Denim & Diamonds: Celebrating 60 Years Dinner, Distinction, Dancing & the Soulful Sounds of Windstorm.
While enjoying the evening don’t miss the Denim Diamonds and Deals: A Silent Auction Affair- which is great chance to pick up items while supporting the LATA Scholarship Fund. We Welcome your Silent Auction Donations!! If you’d like to contribute, we welcome gift baskets, local items, gift cards, or other dazzling donations. Silent Auction donations can be dropped off at the registration desk on Wednesday or Thursday of the conference. Your generosity helps support scholarships and future LATA endeavors.
Hotel Room Reservation Details
We’ve secured an exclusive nightly group rate of $149.00 + applicable taxes at the Live Casino Hotel Bossier City (don’t forget your tax exemption forms). There are no resort fees and valet parking is complimentary. To receive the group rate Room Reservations must be made by Monday, November 9, 2026. If your organization is paying the hotel directly via check, the venue requires a 14-day lead time. This method requires special assistance, so please contact the conference host via email (pjackson@caddosalestax.org) for special assistance.

Conference Registration Details
Early registration for the conference is $375 for LATA members, $400 for non-members, and $160 per guest to cover food and beverage participation costs. A $50 late fee will be added to registrations received after November 16, 2026.
